How to join CAREFIN
Institutions
choosing to sponsor CAREFIN can choose whether they want to support CAREFIN as a
whole – getting access to a full array of research outputs – or prefer to focus
on individual "research packages". These are
the Newfin package, covering research
on banking and finance, asset management, financial markets and innovative securities;
the Cerap package, covering research on insurance companies and products, through a blend of
management science, law and quantitative finance;
the Pension Forum package, covering the
characteristics and operation of private pensions (both pension funds
and individual retirement accounts).
CAREFIN Sponsors can preview our working papers 6 months before they are released to the general public and
are invited to discuss their operational implications with the authors during
informal, closed-door workshops. Other closed-door roundtables (“pension forum”) with experts and Sponsors are dedicated to regulatory
changes and product innovations on pension funds.
All research projects promoted by CAREFIN
are discussed twice a year with Sponsors, to ensure that they meet the expectations
and needs of the financial community.
Furthermore, CAREFIN is available to
perform ad hoc studies that are requested and funded by individual
institutions, provided that they comply with the minimum standards set out by
the centre and by Bocconi, in terms of accuracy and scientific rigor.
